Village Motor Company is one of Wallasey’s longest standing family-owned garage business and is now in its 35th year of trading.
Established in 1983, we have come a long way since our humble beginnings as a small garage in Wallasey Village, the fact that we have been trading for over 30 years in business is a testament to the excellent service and high standards that we offer. We were the first independent garage on the Wirral to be accepted into the Wirral Trading Standards Fair Trading scheme. Membership of the scheme is granted only after rigorous vetting to ensure members offer an honest, reliable and reputable service.
Our business has delveloped over the years and in 1998 we moved to a new one-acre, purpose-built site in Cross Lane, Wallasey. The premises were built with large vans and motorhomes in mind, and we now undertake a great deal of fleet servicing and repairs for national fleets such as the NHS, British Gas and the RAC as well as for the general public.
All vehicles that are serviced by Village Motor Company are serviced to manufacturers’ recommended servicing schedules to maintain the validity of the manufacturers’ warranty.

Our vehicle storage is ideal for commercial use or by customers needing a safe parking space.
Village Self Storage - Wirral
We have a large selection of storage containers, 20 foot containers are 20ft long x 8ft high x 7ft wide = 160ft square feet. Each container is waterproof, sealed, and provides high security. Containers are situated in a fully enclosed, floodlit yard with concrete surface and spacious parking. You are able to park up to the container to load it up. The area is monitored by 24-hour CCTV and access is through a gate with personal fob entry control system.

Carbon is a naturally occurring by-product in a combustion engine, it looks like a coating of black soot. Many things, like contaminants found in lower grade petrol and diesel such as supermarket fuels, a vehicle running a rich fuel/air mixture, oil leaks, and short trip driving can lead to excessive carbon build up and really cause you problems. This build up can lead to, decreased mpg, excessive emissions, hesitation, lack of power, stalling and poor acceleration because carbon build up on vehicle sensors affects the signals sent to the engine management, which can lead to further carbon build up. Book your tyres online through DAVANTI Tyres. From here, you can find out exactly what we offer, how the whole online ordering process through the website works. You can order online and pick a date, time and pay for them on them on the day.
MOT Booking
You can now book an MOT for your vehicle online with Village Motor Company. As well as all makes of cars and small vans (£38), we also MOT motor homes, minibuses (£50) and larger wheelbase vans (£45). MOT retests are £5 for all vehicles, when a vehicle has failed its MOT test at Village Motor Company and is re-presented within 10 working days of the initial test. Only one free retest will be carried out.

You can now book a service for your vehicle online with Village Motor Company. As well as all makes of cars, we also Service motor homes and larger wheelbase vans.
